uBoyaTMFelts
Our uBoya TM Felts range of non-woven felts are designed to be used with any thermosetting liquid resin using infusion or RTM technologies. Comprised of 100% short hemp and flax fibers, they offer reinforcement and thickness to composites using a fully natural and sustainable material. Highly drapable and deformable, they can be used for complex shapes and designs. Supplied in dry + prepreg. Available in 150-950g/m2.
uBoyaTMHybrids
Our uBoya TM Hybrids range of non-woven (pre impregnated) felts are designed for thermocompression technologies. Composed of 100% hemp or flax fibers compounded with a thermoplastic (PP, PET, PES, PLA etc.), they offer excellent mechanical, dampening, lightening and acoustic properties. Lending good mechanical properties to composites, they are particularly useful for automotive interior parts. Available in 150-950g/m2.
uBoyaTMMulti-Axials
Our uBoya TM Multi-Axials (currently under development) range of non-crimp fabrics are designed to be used for a wide range of composite manufacturing applications. Composed of hemp-based (with thermoplastic options) uni-directional (UD) and bi/multi-axials (+/-45/90 degrees), they will come in ribs (grids) and mats. Highly diverse, they offer superior mechanical performance and widest-variety for customization. Will be available in 150-450g/m2.
uBoyaTMWovens
Our uBoya TM Wovens (currently under development) range of woven mats designed to be used with a wide range of composite manufacturing applications. Comprised of 100% hemp rovings or hemp + thermoplastic (PET, PP, PLA etc.), they are offered in in 2x2 or 4x4 woven twills. These provide the combination of excellent aesthetic design (with natural finish) along with excellent mechanical properties. Will be available in 200-500g/m2.
